Our Head Start is committed to providing quality comprehensive services for the child and his/her total family. Our activities are geared toward fostering the growth and development of children enrolled, involving parents in the program, and providing them with opportunities to enhance the understanding of child care practice and knowledge.
- Who qualifies for Head Start?
- Children must be 3 or 4 years of age on or before September 1 of the application school year
- Eligibility is based on income guidelines
- Other eligibility criteria is considered
- Head Start children and families must reside in either Olmsted or Freeborn counties
- Information on current Head Start program
These calendars are to inform parents/guardians, students, staff, citizens, and media of the many activities and special events within the Head Start Program, the following calendars are available.- The SW Congregational Calendar is for the Rochester Southwest Center for the children that attend that option.
- The North West - St. Luke’s Calendar for Home Base Combo A option for those students who attend classes on Monday's and Wednesday's.
- The North West - St. Luke’s Calendar for Home base Combo B option for those students who attend classes on Tuesday and Thursday's.
- The Freeborn County - Brookside Center Option Calendar is for those Children that attend Head Start in Freeborn County.
